Poor Representative Biviano.  He just can’t catch a break-from himself that is.  As you may recall, Biviano left the scene of an accident he apparently caused in Little Rock last year.  Now, more than a full year later, the issue has resurfaced in large part thanks to Biviano’s ego and apparent stupidity.  Apparently a Searcy city councilwoman is supporting his opponent, Searcy Chief of Police Kyle Osborne.  The councilwoman in question, Mary Holder-Arnett, sent out an email supporting Osborne and specifically mentioned the hit and run incident.  Now Biviano could have done what any level headed politician would do and just let it slide by, but no, he had to jump in and let Holder-Arnett have it in a series of emails.  And what did his little temper tantrum accomplish?  It put his hit and run back in the headlines.  Way to go their buddy.  Thanks for doing our work for us.  No really, we appreciate it.

But seriously, how great is it in terms of contrast to have the chief of police running against a hit and run politician that, like so many Republicans elected in 2010, isn’t fit to hold the office of dog catcher?  If you want to help show Biviano the door, here’s a contribution link for Osborne’s campaign.  Feel free to chip in and help him out.
