Headed into next Tuesday’s runoff, State Senator and AR-04 Democratic Candidate has stepped up and made it clear that if elected, he will stand up for women.
The ERA isn’t just a state issue anymore. There’s now a Congressional effort to remove the unconstitutional time limit on ratification of the Amendment, and we’re going to make sure that every Democratic nominee for the US House from Arkansas will stand in support of it.
Both Jeffress and Hurst were presented a copy of this pledge by ERA activists and both had a chance to sign. With Tuesday’s runoff looming, only one has.
