A friend of mine living in the third recently sent me a screen shot of a newspaper article Congressman Womack was quoted in on the case of Kevin Bushling that we broke sometime back.  (My friend has failed to inform me where the article comes from so for the time being I can’t provide a link, just the screen shot, but if that changes I will update the post.)

“I’ve had conversations and voiced my concerns about the disappearance of Joseph Bushling to the highest levels of the military.”  Womack said.  “I’ve spoken to John McHugh on more than one occasion and in fact, the last time the secretary was the one to bring it up.  If anyone suspects Steve Womack doesn’t care about the situation, let me ask this question: What more can I do besides going to Tooele County and doing foot patrol myself.?”

Okay, the creepy third person part aside, that sounds a lot different than the account Kevin Bushling gives in a new video posted on youtube.

In the video, Bushling states that he has gotten help from Massachusetts Senator John Kerry and a Congressman from Utah. The army is being a bit more cooperative as a result. He’s reached out to Senator Pryor but hasn’t heard back yet. Womack, Bushling says, got on his dad’s radio program in Russellville (must be a sweet deal having daddy take to the airwaves everyday to defend you) and talked as if he didn’t know him. Sounds a lot different then you hear Womack still the story doesn’t it?

Update: Thanks to bluebob for providing us the link to the original article from the Courier.
