A couple of days ago, Rick Crawford had a GOTV rally with Eric Cantor, the hillariously comic tool the Republicans are hoping to see as House Majority Leader. This is the same Eric Cantor that has the police arrest and abuse a man for holding a protest sign at one of Cantor’s public events. Roll the tape:
(Keep in mind, this happened right after one of Kentucky Republican Rand Paul’s volunteers stomped on a woman’s head for daring to protest at a Paul event after which the Paul campaign refused to cooperate with the police for some time even though Paul himself knew the identity of the attacker.)
Seriously, Republicans like to rail on Nancy Pelosi and when they do Democrats run away from her in terror. Truth is, the only people that worry about Nancy Pelosi are the Republicans that aren’t going to vote for Democrats anyway. And I’ll say this, Nancy Pelosi, whatever you may think about her, is the lady from San Francisco who made sure that Congressmen from Arkansas got good committee seats to look out for their constituents from. And it wasn’t Nancy Pelosi who had police arrest any of the many protesters that have frequented her events around the country because, unlike Republicans, she believes in free speech and democracy. Oh, and unlike John Boehner, a man who spends more time on the golf course and in a tanning bed than he does with working folks, Nancy Pelosi has never campaigned with a man whose hobbies include dressing up like a Nazi.
These are the friends Rick Crawford keeps and the people he will vote for in Washington, the orange man who hangs out with Nazi impersonators and the joke that is the speech surpressing Eric Cantor. We already learned awhile back that Lil’ Ricky thinks his military credentials give him some sort of basis for opposing other peoples’ right to freedom of worship so yeah, he’ll fit right in with the thugs and wannabe Brown Shirts that make up the Republican Party today. (If you’re fainting over the Brown Shirt reference get over it. It’s what these clowns are acting like these days.)
It’s a simple choice. Keep the Democrats in power or let these heatherns take control of Congress. Rick will pal around with the thugs. Causey, for all his faults, will not. That’s good enough reason to hold your nose and vote for him.

After reading Think Progress, it looks like Mr. Taylor was asked to leave by the owner of private property.
So you are saying it is okay for Democrats to break trespassing laws?
Typical of pro-union “by any means necessary” thugs trained in Minnesota.
@BurnNotice? And you believe Think Progress? This type of thing and the Rand Paul incident are what happens when ordinary Americans allow fascism to take control of their tea party. The hostess fails to serve milk with the tea and the cucumber sandwiches spoil. No thanks, but the only tea party I’ll go to will require the ladies to wear gloves.
Last time I checked, city sidewalks are NOT private property. The three officers involved in this should be suspended and investigated by the US Justice Dept. At no point was Mr. Taylor resisting. Just one more example of the right wing using tactics they constantly accuse us using but can never offer undoctored proof.
That’s the repug way of doing things, accuse a candidate or a party of doing the same thing they are already doing. You know, like voter suppression and voter fraud(thanks Mr. Tim “Caging” Griffin!). Of the less than 100 cases of voter fraud prosecuted by the US Justice Dept, whose purview it is to prosecute voter fraud, none were systemic or conspiratorial. Usually just someone ignorant of the federal law…like Mr. BurnNotice.
Thanks for bringing up the DoJ, Gary.
I don’t believe they ever prosecuted Mr. Griffin for anything.
ARdem, where were you during the health care townhalls when tea partiers were assulted by SEIU union thugs? Didnt seem to feel the need to post about that huh? You act like your high and mighty for calling out those conservatives who you think are evil, yet you turn a blind eye to same faults that those whom you support exhibit.

To BurnNotice – not he wasn’t, which is surely an oversight on the DOJ’s part. Or maybe the Republican in charge of the DOJ at the time was just following orders in not prosecuting. Who was the US Atty Gen at the time?
To Commonsense – I was there at ASU healthcare forum last year when altercations occurred. What I saw was people like you screaming insults and curse words at anyone they saw as Democrat. Did some of the people there react? Yes they did. I nearly did when one of you got in my face. I had said nothing at all at that point, only had a Lincoln and Berry sticker on my shirt. Being called a nazi and a fascist tends to get me a little stirred up when it’s being screamed at the top of some idiot’s lungs.
This thuggery started in the 2000 election down in Florida. Manufactured protesters acting like bullies tried and succeeded in halting the recount. Most of those protesting were Repug operatives. People like you, commonsense.
Sadly, the disenchanted masses thought it was real and have emulated the behavior sense then.
And do I really have to point out the difference between SEIU members and actual law enforcement????
Thank you, Gary, for confirming that Tim Griffin was not charged with anything.
That spells innocent in my book.
Burnnotice and Commensense? I am interested in you commentary about:
http://www.naacp.org/pages/tea-party-report
Most specifically, what is the tea party doing to keep out the KKK’rs and other hate groups…particulary in Arkansas where over 24 hate groups spawn their psuedo-Christian hatred?
I too was privy to see the health care debate…most specifically when Grizzly Tea Party momma told everyone to “reload” and placed her target markers on Congressional office. Treason? or just pure stupidty? The blatant racism that comes out of the tea party is enough to make me hurl.
The Tea Party is also affiliating itself with the English Defense League, a known fascistic and violent organization.

Thank you thelimey29! “Once more let me remind you what fascism is. It need not wear a brown shirt or a green shirt – it may even wear a dress shirt. Fascism begins the moment a ruling class, fearing the people may use their political democracy to gain economic democracy, begins to destroy political democracy in order to retain its power of exploitation and special privilege.” Tommy Douglas on Fascism, does this sound familiar? While the Tea Party says they want to take us back to “Our Constitutional Roots” they better stop to think before they get “taken” by the powers funding the movement.
BurnNotice, you really do wear blinders…Tim Griffin was not charged by the DOJ because the man in charge was US Attorney General Alberto “I love torture!” Gonzalez, the most unqualified AG the country has ever had. He was a Bush fluky and did exactly what he was told to do by Cheney and Rove, which was to not prosecute their golden boy Tim.
Remind me never to do business with you BurnNotice. If your definition of innocent is not getting prosecuted, then it is no different than saying you didn’t commit a crime unless you got caught. Some of us have higher moral standards than that.
