L.J. Bryant is going to be part of our next live blog session, geared for this Friday, October 29th, at 12 noon. You know I caught myself wondering just what kind of interesting conversation we’d have with a candidate for Land Commissioner, then I realized that L.J. dispelled the idea that this isn’t an interesting office in the primary. He’s the counterpoint to those that make the argument that the L.C.’s office (and a few other state offices) ought to be reduced to administrative agencies under the Governor’s watch-a bold leader, with a vision for the office can make a lot of difference, and if L.J. follows through with his promises for reform he may well put a stake in the heart for that kind of thinking. Besides that, he’s a great progressive candidate and a Bill Halter style outsider who will be a great addition to our statewide bench.
