Okay, this is a little weird…From Tim Griffin’s latest email trying to exploit the ADG’s hatchet job on Joyce Elliott:

The email is supposed to be highlighting how Joyce Elliott is supposedly lying about Griffin’s activities. But Joyce Elliott isn’t a lobbyist and has never been a lobbyist. She’s a teacher of course, but you knew that. So let’s get this straight-Griffin wanted to attack Elliott for lying, ended up lying in the process…scratch that, not just lying but saying something so pattently untrue that it’s beyond mind numbing. Seriously, how do you call someone a lobbyist when they’re not a lobbyist and have never been a lobbyist?
There’s only one liar in this race and it’s not Joyce Elliott. Voters in the second district deserve an honest representative and they won’t get it with Tim Griffin.
Seriously…a lobbyist? What kind of stupid….brain dead….idiotic….Forget it. Words just fail on this one.

I don’t post here often but, saying that Joyce Elliot is a lobbyist is an attempt to make her look more like the Corporate Lobbyists that line the pockets of the Republicans we have in D.C. I hardly call her position as an educator on the “College Board” as be an unnecessary evil like those D.C. lobbyists. Educators do need to be able to reach the legislative bodies in order to obtain funding for the institutions of higher learning…we all know that. And, as an educator, Joyce Elliot has done more to help Arkansans then Tim Griffin the “military vote stiffin’”. Unfortunately, Ms. Elliot would have had to fill out the “standard” legislative form in Little Rock as any other citizen that goes before State. I think the folks taking up for Griffin are “sucking air” at this point. Ms. Elliot is impeccable in her ethics. “cough” “cough” wish I could say the same for Griffin.
