It is easier to say i hate politics instead of what I really want to say (I hate Lincoln and Pryor). It hurts me to the core to feel such frustration by the two Senators from Arkansas. Today they voted against the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and the DREAM Act. These two things were included in the Defense Auhorization Act that was called to cloture on the floor of the Senate today.
I know why they did it…Pryor (I hope) was giving Lincoln cover because she is too scared to vote for something that is so “controversial” that could be credited with helping her lose her Senate seat. Well the reality is she is going to lose her Senate seat because she votes on issues just like this without courage and conviction. (75% of Americans believe that LGBT people should be able to serve openly in the military)
We have 3 years to prepare to replace Mark Pryor with a real Democrat – one who has read the platform of the DNC which states “Repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in a sensible way that strengthens our armed forces and our national security” is one of their civil rights planks.
D’s are going to lose the Senate seat to the R’s. My hope is we don’t also lose the 2nd CD seat in the process. Not only would Lincoln be blamed for losing her seat but also helping Griffin get elected at the same time.
ps. I am watching Senator Franken right now get emotional on the Senate floor over DADT. What a great voice to represent Minnesota (In the seat Paul Wellstone used to hold).

It’s past time to dump Lincoln…I know this is blue Arkansas and not Green Arkansas, but this is repulsive. It’s time to openly support the Progressive in the race: John Gray.
