Had this sitting on my desk and it got swept under the rest of the work load.  Bill Halter has landed a pretty impressive endorsement I think, from James O. “Jim” Jones, a long time civil rights activist and former Arkansas state director for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.  Mr. Jones says,

“Bill Halter holds the progressive positions and has the problem solving talents to help make Arkansas and America a better place for all its citizens.  That’s why I support Bill Halter for U.S. Senate.”

From what I understand, Halter is getting a lot of support from former civil rights workers, though most of it is quiet.  Still, I think it’s evidence that Lincoln’s condescencion and dismissiveness of African Americans before this campaign started and now that it’s going are hurting her with the black community.
