Courtesy of the good folks at FDL, Health Care for America now is apparently running this ad praising Blanche and Mark:
Too quote a tough talkin’ fiery judge you might know, “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.”
HCAN is praising our senators for allowing the debate. That’s all well and good, but let’s not pretend like anything has really been accomplished here yet. Blanche is doing everything she can to weaken the bill, namely by threatening to fillibuster a public option. Our senior senator doesn’t merit any praise, certainly praise for her nonexistent courage. If she votes for a bill with a public option in it, then I’ll praise her. Until then, there’s nothing to praise.
